Costa Rica property with streams, rivers, waterfalls
This is a remarkable property for
this area of Costa Rica with its rivers, streams, cascading
waterfalls and numerous pools for swimming and diving.
We have not been to the source of the Rio Frio or the Rio
Naranjalito - the two major rivers traversing the property,
but these water sources come right out of the hills above
us. Other smaller streams originate on the property.
Unusual for this region of
the Nicoya Peninsula, the rivers and some streams run year around.

We feel very fortunate to have found this rate Costa Rica
property for this type of nature-focused real
The largest swimhole is over 8' deep
year round and just the perfect temperature for cooling off.
Some pools are much deeper, and none of us have been able to reach the bottom of one diving
pool even during dry season.
There are different ways to think of
destination living and traveling in Costa Rica. Part of our
concept is to create an ecological development that
is unlike the more common time-share, condo or vacation
developments, where people can live and experience a natural
environment. We try to be ecologically focused in our
building practices, we try to sanctuary the natural
environment, and we are restoring the land.
We do not know of a property
like this in the entire Guanacaste region of Costa Rica and
many people have been on the property that grew up in the
area. In the tropical dry forest most streams run dry up
during the long months without rain so we are very fortunate
to have so many sources of year around running water.
Imagine being part of a community of people
with a shared vision for an ecologically focused community in the
remote hills of Costa Rica overlooking the Pacific Ocean and
a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the
